Crochet has been considered one of the ancient handicrafts for ages, and the name crochet may have been derived from the French language. It is known in Arabic as hand-knitting or hand-weaving with a needle, and it is one of the most beautiful handicrafts. The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Engineer Khalil Al-Dailami, and all members of the Board of Directors extend their thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Mona Al-Hawaj for her efforts and initiative to teach orphans and widows the skill of sewing crochet during the summer period (on Sunday and Thursday of every week).
