The Tree of Life Association Award Ceremony for Humanity and Philanthropy – 5th Edition, 2026

The Tree of Life Society Honors 13 Individuals in the Fifth Edition of Its Humanitarian and Philanthropic Award

On the evening of Tuesday, October 13, 2026, the Tree of Life Social Charity Society held the fifth edition of its Humanitarian and Philanthropic Award at the Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Saleh Al-Alawi, Minister of Social Development, alongside various prominent figures and guests from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

During the event, the Society honored 13 individuals in recognition of their humanitarian and charitable contributions, as well as the initiatives and efforts they have undertaken that have left a meaningful impact on society. This brings the total number of honorees across the five editions of the award to 109 individuals from Bahrain and the Gulf states.

The ceremony commenced with the national anthem, followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Mr. Mohammed Sayed Mohammed Al-Alawi. Ms. Mawahib Al-Sheikh delivered a message on behalf of the Tree of Life Society, followed by an address from the Minister of Social Development, and a speech titled "Creators of Impact," delivered by Ms. Amal Al-Moayyed.

The program featured a video presentation highlighting the award and its humanitarian mission, a segment titled "The Story of an Award... A Message of Giving," and a gesture of appreciation and gratitude toward the Minister. The event also celebrated the career of the guest of honor, Bahraini artist Ahmed Al-Jumairi, and included the honoring of the "Creators of Impact," concluding with a segment titled "When the Impact Is Complete." The ceremony embodied the award’s mission to recognize those who contribute to the greater good and to highlight the impact of humanitarian and charitable work; it also reflected the Tree of Life Society’s commitment to celebrating initiatives that serve humanity and society.
