Orphan Projects

The Tree of Life Social Charity Society takes pleasure in aiding and supporting orphans from the 4th to 11th grade, in all of their essential needs, including their financial, educational, social and health needs, and that is our promise to the orphans registered within the society from all over Bahrain. The charity proudly sponsors 600 orphans and 242 widows, just imagine what your contributions could create for them.

For orphans struggling with education, the charity offers remedial classes provided by Bahrain's top educational institutes. Not only that, but the charity society keeps up with their grade improvements, and honors outstanding students in an annual ceremony of excellence. Such will encourage orphans to improve, excel, and achieve their dreams.

The Tree of Life Social Charity Society launches an annual initiative of giving an exciting experience to orphans which have never experienced the joy of getting on a plane and travelling outside of Bahrain. Orphans aged 9 to 17 are selected from unfortunate, decadent families, with such initiative providing them with an unforgettable experience.

As part of the charity's annual plans aimed at aiding orphans and decadent families, the summer program focuses on entertaining, educating and improving social aspects of its orphans. This is done through several field trips on a span of three months, where orphans have a wonderful time, but also take part in educational courses. Here, orphans experience happiness and joy, alongside learning and growth of their confidence and personality.

The Tree of Life Social Charity Society organizes an annual Umrah trip for its orphans in January, which lasts 10 days. The first trip has taken place in 2016, with the 2020 trip marking the Charity's fifth trip. After performing the Umrah rituals and visiting the grave of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the trip includes a variety of religious, educational and disciplinary activities, as well as a visit to the Quran Museum, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Museum and The Beautiful Names of Allah Exhibition. The trip concludes with a reward to one of the Umrah participants for his/her exceptional morality and discipline.

To be outstanding is a wish for all hardworking students, and only those which are consistently diligent achieve such accomplishment. Such pupils become icons within their peers. The Tree of Life Social Charity Society annually rewards such hardworking students (achieving 95% and above) with a fun trip to a different country in one of their official vacations. The trip includes exciting activities which create an atmosphere of joy and happiness.
